About PGDS<\/h2>\n

Wanda Gilbert, owner of PGDS,\u00a0teaches techniques to assist in reducing risk while driving.\u00a0 While sharing her passion for driver education in the classroom, she continues to teach Behind-the-Wheel at Prince George High School. \u00a0Her many years of experience as a Behind-the-Wheel teacher includes both range and road instruction, which enables her to give new drivers excellent guidance as they pursue a driver\u2019s license. Teaching young drivers on all road types (including rural roads, city roads and interstate roadways) has enhanced her ability to communicate safe driving techniques.<\/p>\n

Prince George Driving School offers driving courses to the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas which include:\u00a0Chesterfield, Chester, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Disputanta, Hopewell, Prince George, Petersburg, Surry, Sussex, Waverly, and Wakefield.<\/p>\n

Students 18 years of age or younger are required to take Driver Education Classroom course.\u00a0 Students will learn right-of-way rules, safe driving techniques, and strategies to help minimize risk.<\/p>\n

This course is excellent for teenagers as well as any age driver who is just beginning or needs a refresher on the proper techniques and safety procedures of driving.\u00a0 Students will experience back roads, city streets, highway and interstate driving.<\/p>\n

Prince George Driving School is certified to teach and administer a DMV-approved 8-hour Driver Improvement class.\u00a0 Defensive driving class is for anyone referred by the court or DMV. \u00a0Some individuals wish to have points taken off driving records and some wish to receive discounts on insurance.<\/p>\n
