• 20+ years of working and chairing Saturday School for Prince George County Public Schools<\/li>\n
• 15+ years of membership to Virginia Association of Driver Education and Traffic Safety (VADETS)<\/li>\n
• 29+ years of continued CPR Certification<\/li>\n
• Nationally certified in Physical Education \u2013 Secondary<\/li>\n
• 18+ years as Head Coach of Girl\u2019s Volleyball at Prince George High School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Gilbert teaches techniques that will assist in reducing risk while driving.\u00a0 While sharing her passion for driver’s education in the classroom, she continues to teach Behind-the-Wheel at Prince George High School. \u00a0Her many years of experience as a Behind-the-Wheel teacher includes both range and road instruction, which enables her to give new drivers excellent guidance as they pursue a driver\u2019s license. Teaching young drivers on all road types (including rural roads, city roads and interstate roadways) has enhanced her ability to communicate safe driving techniques. Implementing safe driving techniques, teaching risk-reducing driving methods, and helping students improve their decision-making skills have been top priority for Gilbert throughout her career.
