Prince George Driving School is certified to teach and administer a DMV-approved 8 hour Driver Improvement class.
Drivers may take this course through the direction of the court or DMV, voluntarily to reduce demerit points on driving records, for job requirements or to reduce insurance costs. Certificates of completion will be given out at the end of the class on the same day. The cost of the course is only $50 if you register and pay online at least 3 days before the course date, $60 if you pay in person the day of the course. Cash, credit cards and money orders accepted. By taking a driver improvement program, you can receive up to 5 safe driving points to help reduce the number of demerit points you have accumulated and improve your driving record. If too many points have accumulated, DMV can require drivers to take a driver improvement course. Insurance companies may also direct drivers to take the course, or an individual may wish to take the course for an insurance discount. A good driving record is directly reflected in lower car insurance premiums. Students may volunteer to complete the class every two years.
